Gap Construction are working with a leading specialist contractor delivering the strip out of a large machine facility in Hereford. Due to continued project demands, they are seeking an experienced CDM Advisor to support the safe planning and delivery of these works. This is an excellent opportunity to join a specialist project team on a significant industrial scheme, providing expert CDM support throughout the planning and delivery phases of the project.
Performance Objectives- Provide expert CDM advice and support throughout the design and construction phases of the project.
- Assist duty holders in understanding and fulfilling their obligations under CDM 2015.
- Review and contribute to pre-construction information and construction phase documentation.
- Identify, monitor and advise on significant design and construction risks.
- Carry out regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards.
- Attend design reviews, project meetings and safety workshops.
- Liaise with project stakeholders to promote safe construction practices and effective risk management.
- Support the preparation, review and handover of the Health and Safety File.
- Encourage continuous improvement and a proactive approach to health and safety across the project.
- Previous experience as a CDM Advisor within construction, manufacturing, industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Thorough knowledge of CDM 2015 regulations.
- NEBOSH Certificate or Diploma.
- APS membership would be highly advantageous.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
- CSCS Card.
- Experience working on industrial facilities, automation plants, logistics centres or similar large scale projects would be beneficial.
