gap technical are proud to be representing this manufacturing business in their search for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to work at their facility based in the Bristol area.
Performance Objectives- Carrying out electrical maintenance on production equipment.
- Responding quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Fault finding on PLC-controlled machinery.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Completing planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with food manufacturing standards.
- Working collaboratively with production and engineering teams.
- Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds / HNC or equivalent).
- Previous experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environment preferred.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with conveyors, packaging machinery, motors, sensors, and control systems.
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment.
- Knowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standards.
- Pension scheme contribution up to 6%
