GAP Talent is partnering with a leading UK professional services and business advisory organisation that supports ambitious, high-growth and entrepreneurial businesses across the UK. As part of continued growth within its Digital Risk and Advisory Services practice, the organisation is seeking a skilled Offensive Security Analyst to join a fast-paced and collaborative cyber security team.
This role offers exposure to a broad range of clients, industries and threat scenarios, providing an excellent platform to develop technical depth while contributing to high-impact security engagements.
The Role
- Conduct penetration testing and offensive security engagements across networks, applications and platforms.
- Support red team activities and adversary simulation exercises.
- Identify, validate and communicate security vulnerabilities and associated business risk.
- Contribute to vulnerability management and remediation support.
- Stay up to date with emerging attack techniques, threat actors and offensive security tools.
- Assist with the development of new penetration testing methodologies, tooling and automation.
- Work collaboratively with team members and engage confidently with client stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and add further value to client engagements.
About You
- Experience in penetration testing and/or vulnerability management.
- Strong understanding of modern and emerging attack techniques.
- Interest in learning and staying current with offensive security technologies.
- Experience within financial services environments is beneficial but not essential.
- Exposure to research, tooling development or automation is advantageous.
- Working towards, or holding, certifications such as CEH, OSCP or CREST.
- Proactive, curious and comfortable managing your own workload while collaborating with others.
