Gap Talent is recruiting on behalf of a leading automotive business for an experienced Master Collision Repair Technician to join a modern, forward-thinking collision repair facility in the Caribbean. This is a full international relocation opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to permanently relocate to the Caribbean and commit to living and working overseas. This role is not suitable for candidates seeking rotational, remote, temporary or commuting arrangements.

The Role

As a Master Collision Repair Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out complex collision and structural repairs to the highest industry standards, ensuring vehicles are repaired safely, efficiently and in line with manufacturer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complete vehicle teardowns, ensuring all parts are accurately organised and labelled for efficient reassembly.
  • Carry out advanced structural and chassis repairs using modern measuring and alignment systems.
  • Complete high-quality metal finishing and cosmetic body filler work to prepare panels for paint.
  • Undertake cutting, riveting and MIG/spot welding in accordance with manufacturer repair procedures.
  • Identify hidden damage during dismantling and work closely with estimators on supplementary repair requirements.
  • Mentor junior technicians and promote best practice throughout the workshop.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of quality, safety and housekeeping.

About You

We're looking for a skilled craftsman who takes pride in delivering first-class repairs. You will ideally have:

  • City & Guilds A.C.E. qualification or an equivalent internationally recognised collision repair certification.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in advanced collision and structural repair.
  • Experience using chassis alignment and measuring systems such as Car-O-Liner or equivalent.
  • Strong MIG and spot welding skills.
  • A thorough understanding of modern manufacturer repair methodologies.
  • A collaborative approach with a willingness to mentor junior technicians.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
