Committed to operational excellence, sustainability, and world-class guest experiences, the group is now seeking a Group Health & Safety Director to lead and elevate its regional safety culture and compliance framework.
Position Summary: As the Group Health & Safety Director, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing the group-wide health, safety, and risk management strategy. You will work across multiple jurisdictions and property types, ensuring the highest international standards are upheld in line with regional regulations and corporate objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the strategic development of health and safety policies across all properties and regional offices.
- Ensure consistent implementation and compliance with local laws, international standards, and internal benchmarks.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and safety reviews; develop action plans to address gaps.
- Oversee the training and development of property-level HSE teams and senior leaders.
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis; develop proactive prevention programs.
- Liaise with executive leadership, legal, HR, and operations to integrate health and safety into all levels of business strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with local regulatory bodies on safety-related matters.
- Drive innovation in sustainability, wellness, and environmental safety practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Recognized certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent required.
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior HSE leadership, preferably within the hospitality, resort, or multi-property sectors.
- Proven experience working in international or multi-jurisdictional environments.
- Exceptional leadership, training, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of regional safety legislation and global best practices.
- Fluency in English is required; Spanish proficiency is highly advantageous.
