A leading international developer is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager (Client-Side) to join its Caribbean office. This is a rare opportunity for a UK-based Professional Quantity Surveyor to relocate to the Caribbean and play a key role across major construction programmes. The role is strictly client-side and suited to candidates from a consultancy / PQS background — not main contractor environments.
The Role
- You will oversee commercial management, cost control, procurement, and contractual matters across multiple high-value projects.
- Working closely with senior leadership, you will ensure robust financial governance from pre-construction through delivery.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience as a Professional Quantity Surveyor (PQS) or in a client-side commercial role.
- Strong experience administering and negotiating standard forms of contract (JCT, AIA, etc.).
- Proven ability in cost planning, cost analysis, benchmarking, and financial reporting.
- Consultancy or developer background essential.
- Candidates from General Contractor (main contractor) environments will not be considered.
- Highly driven, proactive individual looking to transition or progress within a client organisation.
- International or complex project experience advantageous.
