An established engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join its production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality welded components to precise specifications, working with a range of materials in a safety-focused, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out TIG welding on components to engineering drawings and specifications
- Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel
- Ensure all welds meet required quality, strength, and finish standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols
- Set up, adjust, and maintain welding equipment as required
- Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and identify any defects and carry out weld repairs
- Follow health & safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet deadlines
- Assist with rework or corrective actions where necessary
