gap personnel have been dealing with their busy Warehouse and Distribution client for a number of years and due to their peak period just around the corner, they are wanting to recruit a Warehouse Administrator on an ongoing basis. You will be providing critical administrative support to the logistics operations by managing data entry, inventory records and documentation for goods in/out. You will ensure smooth operations by co-ordinating with team leaders, processing orders via their own warehouse system.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & WMS Management: Maintaining accurate records of all stock movements, goods received, and dispatched items using WMS (e.g., SAP, Sterling) and MS Office.
- Order Processing: Processing sales orders through to pick and dispatch, generating picking lists, and producing shipping labels/documentation.
- Inventory Control: Assisting with stock discrepancies, inventory checks, audits, and managing quarantined or non-conforming products.
- Communication & Coordination: Acting as a liaison between sales, transport teams, customers, and warehouse staff to meet deadlines and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Documentation & Reporting: Ensuring all compliance paperwork is completed, filing transportation notes, and creating reports on stock levels or productivity KPIs.
You must have a background in warehousing with good computer and communication skills. Hours are days Monday to Friday 8am starts; however, in peak you will be working NIGHTS. £13.50 per hour.
