Overview: gap personnel are an employment agency and as we are supporting them with Production Operators, we are now looking to grow our numbers by looking for Tig Welders for them too. Based on the Wrexham Industrial Estate, you will be completing the following duties:
- Removal of defects using air tool
- Keeping accurate records of reworked castings
- Visual Inspection
- Liaise with quality, engineering and production on problem solving
- Identifying and removing imperfections from castings
- Weld and visual inspection
- Reading and understanding specifications and standards and processes
- General and cosmetic tidy of castings using air powered and electric tools
- Using IT applications as necessary for the role
Skills / Qualifications:
- Tig Welding experience is essential
- Excellent attendance and time keeping
- A willingness to learn new skills
- Dedicated and motivated individual
- Flexible in your approach to working hours as from time to time, you may need to work shifts including night shifts
Hours: Hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 8.30am-4.30pm finishing at 1.30pm on Fridays.
