Monday – Friday / 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
Our client based in Wrexham area is looking to recruit a Quality Auditor on a full time, permanent basis. Reporting to the Compliance Manager, the purpose of this role is the periodic inspection of moulded components using methods specified within the process control plan. Enforcement of quality standard at shift level for press shop manufacturing operations.
Performance Objectives
- Audit, and where specified, in process measurement of moulded components at point of manufacture.
- Maintenance of SPC records for specified parts.
- Periodic visual inspection of components at point of manufacture.
- Periodic measurement of specified key characteristics for selected components at point of manufacture.
- Execution of SPC analysis as required for specified key characteristics.
- Provision of feedback to Production Team Leader, Trimming and Inspection Team and Quality Manager regarding perceived quality issues for manufactured items and subcomponents.
- Assessment and approval of first off samples.
- Approval of process to run following first off approval.
- Assessment and approval of last of samples in conjunction with nominated production representative.
- Collection of data relating to process quality as required by the Quality Manager.
- Other related tasks as and when required.
Person Specification
- Experience: 3+ years in quality control, assurance, or auditing
- Analytical and Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues and root causes.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous and accurate in observations and documentation.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for reporting and collaboration.
- Technical: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and quality management software.
