We are currently supporting our client with a QA Operator to work at their busy site.
Responsibilities
- To assist Production Management in all aspects of carrying out daily production tasks.
- To ensure due diligence, product safety, and legality at all times.
- To carry out checks and tests to ensure that food safety and quality standards are in line with the required standards.
- You will need to ensure that the final product meets Company specifications and the standard of quality required by customers.
- To be able to carry out finished product checks to the required standard and record the results.
- Verify line checks and highlight issues as they arise both on and off the lines with QA Supervisor in the first instance.
- Carry out weight checks and record details as required.
- Provide quality assurance support across the site.
- Assess the quality of raw materials.
- Complete all relevant paperwork for traceability purposes and to file all recorded information as required by law.
- Take responsibility for quality issues by following up on discrepancies as a result of checks carried out.
- To adhere to Company policies i.e., Food Safety, Health and Safety, Absence, etc.
- Conducting internal shelf life testing.
- Temperature monitoring.
- Glass and hard plastic checks.
Hours and compensation
- Shift 1 - Monday 4am - 4pm, Tuesday to Friday 1.30pm - 11pm.
- Shift 2 - Tuesday to Saturday 4am-2pm.
- Hourly rate will be £13.84 per hour.
