We are looking for a Perpetual Inventory Controller to join our client’s team based in Wrexham on a permanent basis reporting to the MPL Manager. You will oversee and control continuous (perpetual) inventory levels of stock, ensuring accuracy, availability, and efficient supply flow to support manufacturing and aftermarket needs.
Performance Objectives
- Manage perpetual inventory: record stock movements, execute cycle counts, and reconcile system records with physical stock.
- Maintain continuous accuracy of stock levels using SAP system.
- Produce and maintain inventory dashboards and reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and ensure robust root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
Person Specification
- Proficiency in SAP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel essential).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail, analytical mindset, effective communicator, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Meticulous accuracy — minimising stock discrepancies and cycle count variances.
- Process improvement champion — documenting, training and embedding best practices.
