Monday – Thursday 9am-5pm / Friday 8am-4pm

Our client based in the Wrexham area is currently recruiting a Junior Transport Coordinator on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will work in a small team, reporting to the Transport Manager in the UK. This role will require a candidate with strong communication skills both via email and telephone. The role will include management of transport orders and warehouse schedules, co-ordinating deliveries and updating the internal systems to align data.

Performance Objectives
  • Book Transport for orders with external partners.
  • Co-ordinate collections and deliveries with external suppliers.
  • Co-ordinate delivery information and align with internal systems.
  • Share daily/weekly Schedule updates to Warehouses and actively monitor any changes, keeping all parties informed.
  • Upload documents relating to Transport orders into system.
Person Specification
  • Strong Communication.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Transport experience preferred.
  • Some understanding of logistics software preferred.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Geographical knowledge of Europe and UK.
  • Sage X3 / Excel Intermediate.
