The predicted salary is between 22 - 26 £ per hour.

A temporary vacancy has arisen within a busy manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and advise management and employees on health and safety matters
  • Carry out, review and maintain COSHH risk assessments
  • Complete general risk assessments and safe systems of work
  • Conduct shop-floor inspections and safety audits
  • Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Support compliance with UK health & safety legislation
  • Promote a positive health and safety culture across the site

Essential requirements:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Proven COSHH experience within a manufacturing/Foundries/Metals
  • Strong understanding of UK health & safety legislation
  • Experience working in Manufacturing - Foundries/Metal
  • Ability to engage confidently with shop-floor teams

Desirable:

  • IOSH membership (TechIOSH / GradIOSH)
  • Experience in heavy or high-risk manufacturing environments
  • ISO 45001 / 14001 exposure

Hours and compensation:

Hours of work are Days Monday-Friday. Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
