My NEW client based just outside of Wrexham is looking for a FLT Driver /Yardperson to join their already busy team. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role with loading and unloading wagons, preparing customer orders, and maintaining a safe and tidy workplace.
Other duties will include:
- Material handling: Unloading, transporting, and storing materials safely.
- Order preparation: Assembling customer orders for collection or delivery.
- Customer service: Assisting customers with loading their vehicles and answering questions.
- Yard maintenance: Keeping the yard clean, tidy, and free of hazards, which can include operating recycling equipment like balers.
Skills needed:
- Physical fitness: The role is often physically demanding, requiring lifting and manual labour.
- Teamwork: The ability to work as part of a team and take instructions is essential.
- Flexibility: Willingness to be flexible and assist with other duties as needed.
- Experience: Experience working in a similar yard environment or in a relevant trade is often preferred.

This is a temp to perm role for the right candidate. Hours of work are:
- Week 1 - 5 x 12 hours including Saturday and Sunday
- Week 2 - 3 x 12 hour nights
- Week 3 - 2 x 12 hour nights then 2 x 2 hour days
