gap personnel have been supporting our client with a variety of staff for a number of years, and as their order book is busy until 2028, they are now looking to recruit another Assembly Operator with calibration experience. You will have proven calibration experience, combining some mechanical assembly, using testing and adjusting equipment.
Responsibilities
- Building electro-mechanical assemblies according to detailed engineering drawings and standard work instruction.
- Performing high-precision adjustments to verify that products meet strict safety, quality, and performance criteria before they progress on the line.
- Working with teams to resolve issues.
Essential Requirements
- Previous work in a production, engineering, or fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and production documents.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work toward output targets without compromising quality.
Hours of work are Mon-Thur 8am-5pm with an early finish on Fridays. Hourly rate of pay is from £12.80 per hour.
