We’re looking for an experienced Project Coordinator to support a major factory relocation project based in Cullompton. The successful candidate will have proven experience coordinating the movement of production machinery or full production lines from one manufacturing site to another, ensuring a smooth, safe and efficient transition.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and oversee the relocation of production machinery and/or full production lines.
- Work closely with engineering, production, operations, and H&S teams as well as external contractors.
- Prepare and maintain project schedules, risk assessments, method statements and equipment inventories.
- Support decommissioning, transport, installation and commissioning activities at the new location.
- Track progress, resolve issues proactively, and deliver clear updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, legally and in line with project timelines.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience coordinating machinery or production line moves between factory sites.
- Strong planning, organisation and project coordination skills.
- Confident communicator, able to collaborate and influence across departments.
- Understanding of equipment installation, commissioning standards and industrial health & safety.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
