We are currently recruiting experienced Warehouse Operatives / FLT Drivers for a busy warehouse environment for our client based in Trafford Park, Manchester (M17). This is a great opportunity for reliable and experienced candidates looking for ongoing work with a fixed day shift pattern and the potential of a permanent contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Counterbalance and Reach FLT trucks
- Loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse
- Picking and packing orders using handheld scanners
- Carrying out data entry and stock checks using warehouse systems
- Supporting general warehouse operations
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licences (both essential)
- Minimum 12 months’ FLT driving experience
- Previous warehouse experience and confidence using handheld scanners
- Basic IT skills and PC literacy
- PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) experience preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and within a team
Shift Pattern:
- 4on 4off Night shifts: 6:50pm – 6:50am
Pay rate: £16.47 - £16.83 per hour
Ongoing work with temp-to-perm opportunities for the right candidate. Training would be on day shifts 8am-4pm.
