As a Warehouse Operative, you will join our exceptional team at one of the UK's leading supermarkets based in WF9. Your role will involve picking goods for delivery to stores, using a scan gun or parcel sortation for online orders. This position requires a lot of manual handling, including loading, unloading and moving cages to different areas.
Shifts are provided on a rolling fixed 8-week cycle, providing you with the opportunity to plan your schedule in advance.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- We welcome candidates with previous warehouse experience; however, this is not a requirement as full training will be provided.
- A keen eye for detail when checking goods is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the correct processing and handling of products.
- Monitoring stock levels and reordering supplies as needed to meet customer demand.
- Adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Shifts: 6am-2pm or 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am.
Working Hours: You will work 24-40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled on a rota basis, consisting of 3/7, 4/7 or 5/7 working days. The rota will be issued 8 weeks in advance. You will be expected to cover shifts on a weekend every two weeks.
