Warehouse & FLT Supervisor

£14.10 per hour | Monday – Friday / Day & Night Shifts

Our client based in the Mold area is currently looking for a Warehouse/FLT Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is responsible for supervising a small team of FLT Operators and working closely with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.

Performance Objectives

• Team Leadership: Supervise and guide a team of production FLT operatives, overseeing day to day operations.
• Material Handling: Operate forklift trucks (FLTs) and other equipment to move, store, and dispatch goods.
• Stock Management: Oversee stock control, counting, and ensuring accurate placement of products in and out of the warehouses.
• Production Support: Coordinate with production teams supervisors to ensure smooth material flow and support their needs.
• Health & Safety: Ensure all warehouse operations and FLT use comply with health and safety regulations.
• Warehouse Operations: Manage all movement of stock from the warehouse to and from production units.
• Maintenance & Housekeeping: Perform general housekeeping and ensure equipment, including FLTs, is maintained and checked.

Person Specification

• FLT License: A valid Counterbalance FLT license is essential.
• Experience: Supervisory experience in warehouse operations is required, preferably in FMCG.
• Technical: Proficiency with FLTs and other mechanical warehouse equipment.
• IT Skills: Good IT skills are required, with experience in warehouse management systems.
