Gap Personnel who operate as an employment business are recruiting for 1 Warehouse/FLT (counterbalance) Operative

Location

Middlewich CW10

Working hours

Monday-Friday 11:00am-20:00pm (minimum of 40 hours), 1×45 minute break (unpaid).

Pay

£12.80p/h

Role Overview

This is a role working in a busy warehouse dealing with the loading and unloading of freight (mostly palletised) to and from vehicles. The role is fast-paced, and the successful candidate will require a good level of initiative to perform tasks without supervision.

Duties

  • Side loading and unloading vehicles
  • General pallet movement
  • Manual handling of loads
  • Scanning of palletised loads
  • Labelling of palletised loads
  • General housekeeping

This role will include a split between warehouse duties and usage of the FLT.

The hours of work are the general hours. There is an expectation that staff will work until all relevant duties have been completed. On occasion, this may require overtime. There may also be some occasional Saturday working, depending on business requirement.

Required Skills

  • Full and valid FLT (counterbalance) – completed or refreshed within the last 3 years.
  • 2 years of FLT experience in a warehouse environment (essential).
  • Good manual handling skills.
  • Good level of English, both verbal and written.
