Pay Rate: £13.10 p/h on AM shift, £14.23 p/h on PM shift, After 12 weeks: £13.45 p/h on AM shift, £14.58 p/h on PM shift
Shifts: Rotational shifts: Monday to Friday: 06:15 to 14:15 & Monday to Thursday: 14:00 to 22:30 with Friday: 14:00 to 20:00

Gap personnel are proud to be working together with a global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon. During a period of sustained growth, they are currently looking for Warehouse Operatives to support their busy distribution operation.
Job Duties:
- Receive, unload and pick products to a high standard using both pick sheets and an RFU scanner.
- Use of a LLOP (training provided)
- Ability to work accurately and safely.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Ability to spot quality issues and able to confidently report issues to a Team Lead/Supervisor
- Manual handling (some batteries may be heavy)
- Stock replenishment
- Stock put away
Ideal candidate will have:
- Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to improve and make a difference.
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
- Ability to go the extra mile and be flexible with working hours when needed.
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.
- Good team skills to be able to work with others and lead from the front.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Good attention to detail.
Previous experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Good knowledge of warehouse processes and procedures.
- Experience in the use of scanning equipment.
Due to the nature of the business, Health and Safety induction and walkaround will be held on site. Prior to any walkaround, an aptitude test must be completed. All interviews and walkarounds will be held on site too.
For those who demonstrate good working ethics and commitment, there may be permanent opportunities available.
