We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Pickers to join a busy distribution centre in Normanton WF6. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for consistent afternoon shifts across a 4-day working week.
The Role
As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders within a chilled warehouse environment using voice-picking technology and handheld scanners.
Key Responsibilities
* Picking orders using a headset (voice-picking system)
* Using handheld scanners to process stock and orders
* Working efficiently to achieve productivity targets
* Ensuring orders are picked accurately and safely
* Following all site Health & Safety procedures
* Maintaining good housekeeping standards within the warehouse
Working Environment
This role is based within a chilled warehouse. Candidates must be comfortable working in a cold environment for the duration of their shift. Appropriate PPE will be provided.
What We're Looking For
* Previous warehouse, picking, or distribution experience preferred
* Experience using scanners or voice-picking equipment is advantageous
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work on your feet and undertake manual handling duties
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
* Comfortable working in a chilled environment
