Temporary Van Driver / Event Staff
Location: North August
Hours: Monday to Friday, hours as required by the business, usually 12pm - 8pm
Salary: £14.00 per hour
About the Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Van Drivers / Event Staff to support our busy school uniform distribution season during July and August. This is a varied, customer-facing role that involves travelling to schools across the North and Central regions of England to deliver stock, set up events, and assist parents collecting school uniform bundles. Schools are predominantly located along the A1/M1 corridor, with travel ranging from Middlesbrough in the north, Nottinghamshire in the south, Scunthorpe in the east, and Haydock in the west. A company van will be provided, and a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver stock to school distribution and exchange events across the A1/M1 corridor.
- Plan and manage your time effectively to arrive at events as required.
- Set up and organise event spaces, including unloading, lifting and moving boxes of garments.
- Assist with stock organisation and inventory counts.
- Accurately distribute pre-packed school uniform bundles to parents.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the business professionally at all times.
- Ensure all stock is handled carefully and distributed appropriately.
