We are currently looking for a part-time Trolley Retrieval Operative for our Client based in Ashton-under-Lyne, OL6. The role of the Trolley Retrieval Operative is to work in a busy car park ensuring trolleys are collected and returned to the store for further customer use on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Ensure optimum car park efficiency by ensuring the timely retrieval of trolleys are returned to the customer pick up points.
- Onsite cleaning duties, ensuring the trolleys are always in a clean and presentable condition and free of litter.
- Responsible for ensuring you abide by the safe working procedures of a trolley operative.
- Dealing with customers including customer complaints, customer services and customer facing duties, reporting any incidents to the site Charge Hand/Supervisor or Security.
- Assist with finding customer vehicles where required.
- Ensure you are working to allocated areas and taking breaks at times specified to ensure there is no decrease in service to the stores.
About you
- Must be presentable at all times.
- Must turn up for work wearing correct PPE and uniform as discussed during induction.
- Must be able to communicate clearly to deal with customer requests and also to understand induction training such as Health and safety information.
- Preferably someone who is flexible with working hours, as there might be extra shifts to cover during busy periods.

- Minimum of 17 hours/week, but you might need to work beyond those hours as it is a busy time of year, up to full time.
