Production Operative - Weekend Location:Tredegar
We’re recruiting a Production Operative to join a busy and well-run manufacturing environment in Tredegar. This is a full-time, days-only position with a stable weekday shift pattern.
Shift Pattern
- Friday to Sunday
- 07:00 - 19:00
About the Role
You’ll be working as part of a skilled production team, supporting daily manufacturing operations and ensuring products meet high quality standards. Previous experience is helpful but not essential, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are key.
What We’re Looking For
- Self-motivated attitude with strong timekeeping
- Ability to work unsupervised when required
- Good technical skills and practical ability
- A reliable team player who can communicate well across all levels
- Strong quality focus and attention to detail
- Understanding of production processes is preferred but not essential
Key Responsibilities
- Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Using mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues
- Fabricating components using tools such as milling machines
- Assembling products to specification
- Working collaboratively to support smooth production flow
- Following all health & safety procedures and safe tool handling
