Transport Planner
We are looking for an experienced Transport Planner to join our client in their Transport Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-organised and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning and coordinating daily transport operations.
- Ensuring deliveries are scheduled efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Maintaining accurate transport records and documentation.
- Liaising with drivers, warehouse teams, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolving transport issues and supporting the wider transport team.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Transport Planner or in a similar transport/logistics role.
- Strong IT skills with a high level of competence in Microsoft Excel.
- SAP experience is desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience working in a traffic, warehousing, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
Working Hours
- Sunday to Thursday
- 40 hours per week
Salary
- £27,622.40 per annum (non-negotiable)
