gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for a Manufacturing and Warehouse Picker for an ongoing temporary assignment in Tewkesbury. Successful candidates will become a member of the manufacturing and warehouse department and will be involved in all aspects of work for both sectors. The site operates 5 days a week, on a rotational shift basis. The right candidate needs to demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to the working hours.
Main Duties as a Warehouse Loader and Picker:
- Picking according to the pick sheet list
- Quantity and quality checks
- Final inspection
- Occasionally assisting with machinery in the manufacturing department
- Full training provided
Rotational Working Hours:
- Week 1: Monday – Thursday 6am – 2pm, Friday 6am – 1pm
- Week 2: Monday – Thursday 1:45pm – 10pm, Friday 12:45pm – 6:45pm
Shifts are rotational.
Hourly Pay Rates:
- Basic Rate – £13.85 p/h
- OT available during the week (after 40 hours) – 1.3x between 8pm – 10pm, and after 10pm 1.5x
- OT available over the weekends after full training – first 6 hours 1.5, and then 2.0x
Successful candidates will be hardworking individuals with a can-do attitude. Nature of the job is not heavy lifting.
