gap personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business within the timber sector. We are seeking an experienced and confident Telemarketer to focus on building relationships with architects involved in high-end residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware individual who thrives on engaging with professionals and generating high-quality leads rather than high-volume calls.

The Role

You will be responsible for developing a strong pipeline by contacting architectural practices, introducing products, and generating interest that leads to meaningful business opportunities.

What We’re Looking For

Essential

  • Proven experience in telemarketing, telesales, or outbound sales
  • Confidence speaking with professionals and decision-makers
  • Ability to navigate organisations and handle gatekeepers

  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Highly organised with good self-management

Desirable

  • Experience within construction, architecture, or a related field

Working Arrangements

  • Remote/home-based working available
  • Initial training period (partly office-based in South Petherton where possible)
  • Occasional office attendance required (e.g. twice per month)
  • Flexible working options with full-time or part-time availability

Salary & Benefits

  • £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (pro rata for part-time)
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
