gap personnel are currently recruiting for an individual with experience of working in an industrial environment, preferably within a cleaning role, to join the onsite Engineering and Facilities Team as a Technical Cleaner.
The Technical Cleaner is responsible for cleaning industrial automation, plant, and equipment to a high standard. This role includes indoor and outdoor cleaning duties.
Location: Amesbury SP4 7GQ
Working Hours: Mon- Fri 8am-4pm
Pay Rate: £ 13.41p/h
Job Overview
- Cleaning in and around automated storage and retrieval crane aisles
- Sweep and jet wash under and around warehouse equipment including loading bays, industrial bailers and compactors, pallet conveyor/handling systems and automated lift systems
- Litter pick around the site
- Operate industrial ride on and hand operated Scrub/Dryer machinery
- Complete other cleaning duties as instructed
Please note that this role includes working at height
Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Good communication skills
- Computer proficient - the role requires use of a handheld device to record a work task as completed
- Experience of working in a cleaning role
- Experience of working in an industrial environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Qualification such as IOSH Managing Safely and COSHH Level 2 are preferred but not required (training will be provided)
