Gap Personnel are proud to be working alongside a new client who is a leading food manufacturer within their field, located on the outskirts of Chester in their search for Production operatives to join them on a temp to perm basis. Due to increases in business, our client is looking for multiple operatives. The main attribute our client is looking for is a good attitude to work.

Responsibilities

Maintain high standards of hygiene and housekeeping.
Manufacture quality and safe products.
Produce mixes according to production plan and standard recipes.
Weigh powders in accordance with recipes.
Rotate (First In-First Out) raw materials ingredients and advise Production Lead of any over or under stock positions or ingredients going out of date according to the “Storage” procedure.
Complete the production paperwork/due diligence records in a correct and readable manner to ensure total traceability.

Person Specification

Due to location, own transport is REQUIRED.
Previous experience within manufacturing/production.
Ability to work cold conditions.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and multi-task.
Ability to lift heavy objects as parts of the role can be physically demanding.
Team player, adaptable and flexible.

Hours of Work

AM Shift : Mon-Fri 5am-2:45pm
PM Shift : Mon-Fri 12pm-9:45pm
