We are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative to join a busy and growing team based in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, permanent work with training and progression opportunities.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
- Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (when required)
Duties Will Include
- Assisting customers buying and selling metal
- Sorting cables and various metal materials in the yard
- Working outdoors in all weather conditions
- General yard duties and housekeeping
- Operating machinery (full training provided)
- Training available on forklift trucks and cranes - internal training during the assignment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Good customer service skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training
- Ability to work outdoors and carry out physical work
- A driving licence is preferred
