About the Role: gap personnel Gloucester are recruiting for 12 Warehouse Operatives for their pallets repairing operations. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable using tools such as hammers or nail guns; however, full training will be provided to those who may not have prior experience. The work environment may be noisy.
Responsibilities:
- Repairing broken and damaged pallets
- Use of hand tools
- Manual handling and lifting techniques to move pallets around
- Quality checking on all repaired pallets
- Adding nails, replacing
- Sanding
- Operating a narrow aisle
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 6am – 2pm and 2pm – 10pm – shifts are rotational; all employees must work both shifts, rotating weekly.
Hourly Pay Rates:
- Basic Rate - £13.25 p/h
- OT paid after completion of 40 hours at £14.25
- Bonus scheme available on achieving team targets – once bonus achieved, rate per hour is £17.25
Requirements: Successful candidates will have a can-do attitude, be reliable and have a good attendance record from previous employers.
