Shifts: Monday – Friday, 06:15am – 14:15pm

Gap personnel are proud to be working together with the largest global manufacturer of Lead‑Acid and Lithium‑ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for Reach and CB Truck Operative to support a busy Warehouse department.

Job Duties:

  • Operating in narrow aisles for storing and retrieving pallets in racking
  • Loading and unloading heavy materials
  • High picks
  • Ability to work accurately and safely
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to spot quality issues and confidently report them to a Team Lead/Supervisor
  • Stock replenishment in high locations in racking
  • Stock put away to high locations in racking

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in operating a Reach truck
  • In‑date Reach FLT licence
  • Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to improve and make a difference
  • Ability to problem‑solve and think outside the box
  • Ability to go the extra mile and be flexible with working hours when needed
  • Ability to follow and fully understand instructions and clearly explain requirements to others
  • Good team skills to work with others and lead from the front
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good attention to detail

Health and Safety induction and walk‑around will be conducted on site.
