Job Title: Reach Forklift Driver
Location: Swindon, SN3 5FB
Pay Rate: £13.10 per hour rising to £13.45 after 12 weeks
Working Hours:0800 - 1600, Monday to Friday - 37.5 hour paid working week

gap Personnel are proud to be working in partnership with GS Yuasa based in Swindon, who are currently looking for a Reach Forklift Driver to join their busy Industrial department
Responsibilities
- Operating forklift trucks to transport goods, pallets and materials safely within the warehouse.
- Loading and unloading deliveries from lorries, containers or storage areas
- Stacking and organising pallets or goods within designated storage locations
- Moving materials between storage areas, production areas and loading bays
- Inspecting forklift equipment before use and reporting any faults or maintenance needs
- Following work place health and safetyprocedures when operating machinery
- Ensuring transport routes and loading areas remain clear of hazards or obstructions
- Assisting with inventory management by moving stock or preparing items for dispatch
- Securing goods using pallets, shrink wrap or other protective materials for transport
Ideal Candidate:
- Enthusiastic work ethic with a willingness to improve and make a difference.
- Have a valid Reach truck licence
- Minimum of one years experience.
- Ability to problem solve and think outside the box.
- Ability to go the extra mile and be flexible with working hours when needed.
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to follow & fully understand instructions and be able to clearly explain requirements to others.
- Good team skills to be able to work with others and lead from the front.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Good attention to detail.
As a part of selection process, candidates must expect the following:
- Complete the full gap-personnel registration online which will involve a video call for an interview and a meeting in our Swindon office
- Will be asked to complete an aptitude test
- Will be asked to attend walkaround first
