Bakery Assistant / Kitchen Staff Member to join their production team in

Swindon .

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hardworking and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced food production environment.

Working as part of the bakery team, you will be involved in the preparation, baking, decorating, and packing of high-quality products while maintaining exceptional food hygiene and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation and production of, baked goods, and confectionery products.
  • Mixing, preparing, and baking products in line with recipes and specifications.
  • Decorating and finishing products to company standards.
  • Preparing ingredients and ensuring stock levels are maintained.
  • Packing products ready for delivery and sale.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Following food safety, health and safety, and company procedures at all times.
  • Cleaning equipment, utensils, and workstations.
  • Supporting other areas of the bakery and production process as required.
  • Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will

  • Have previous experience within a bakery, kitchen, food production, catering, or hospitality environment (preferred but not essential).
  • Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
  • Have excellent attention to detail and take pride in producing quality products.
  • Be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Have a good understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
  • Be comfortable standing for long periods and undertaking manual handling duties.
  • Be flexible to work weekends as part of a rota.
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team.
