gap personnel is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Hampshire for a Supply Chain Operations Assistant. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and timely flow of goods throughout the supply chain, supporting stock management, logistics coordination, and maintaining efficient operations across inbound and outbound activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle and manage goods, including unloading deliveries, storing, and preparing stock for production
Maintain stock accuracy and update related documentation
Load and unload vehicles while ensuring safe and efficient processes
Work closely with Transport, Production, Packing, and Wholesale teams to coordinate logistics
Support daily order processing and internal deliveries
Operate forklifts to move pallets and goods safely
Ensure compliance with company standards, quality procedures, and Health & Safety policies
Accurately document deliveries, returns, and any discrepancies
Requirements:
Previous experience in warehouse or logistics operations (ERP knowledge desirable)
Valid Forklift Licence
Ability to work under time constraints and adapt to operational needs
Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners
