Overview

Gap Personnel (operating as an employment business) are currently recruiting for a Solderer for our client in Telford. This is a role best suited to someone who has used soldering equipment previously. This role is temporary that could lead to permanent. Hours of work: Monday – Friday 8am – 5:30pm Pay: GBP12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Perform hand soldering of electronic components

  • Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions

  • Use soldering irons, heat guns, and other tools safely and effectively

  • Prepare and position components prior to soldering

  • Identify and repair soldering defects

  • Work with small parts with precision and attention to detail

  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation

  • Follow all health and safety regulations and company procedures

  • Collaborate with the team to meet daily production targets
