We are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in Paignton to recruit a Site HR Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and successful business with strong HR foundations already in place. The role offers the chance to play a key part in supporting site leadership, developing management capability, and promoting a positive and consistent people culture across the operation.

Working closely with managers across the site, you will provide practical, hands-on HR support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Role

  • Provide day-to-day HR guidance and support to managers across the site
  • Manage a wide range of employee relations cases from start to finish
  • Coach and develop managers to build confidence and capability in people management
  • Promote a consistent and pragmatic approach to HR policies and procedures
  • Build strong working relationships across all levels of the business
  • Act as a visible, approachable, and trusted HR presence on site
  • Support ongoing people initiatives and contribute to a positive working culture
  • Ensure HR best practice and employment law compliance are maintained

About You

  • Have previous experience within an HR Advisor, Senior HR Advisor, or HR Manager position
  • Ideally have experience within manufacturing, food production, or another fast-paced operational environment
  • Be confident managing employee relations issues and applying employment law in practice
  • Have a practical and solutions-focused approach to HR
  • Be comfortable influencing and supporting managers at all levels
  • Be organised, approachable, and proactive in your style
  • CIPD qualification would be advantageous, but is not essential
