We are currently recruiting Mobile Operatives to support the council services across the mid Devon on a temporary ongoing basis. This is a hands-on outdoor role ideal for individuals who enjoy independent work, travelling between sites, and helping keep local areas clean and well-maintained. You must hold a full driving licence for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Emptying public litter bins
- General area cleaning, including litter picking and grounds maintenance
- Driving between multiple locations across the district to complete daily routes
- Working independently to complete assigned tasks to a high standard
What We’re Looking For
- A full valid driving licence (required to operate small caged trucks, vans, and similar vehicles)
- Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
- Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude towards outdoor, physical work
- Flexibility to work in various locations across the district
