The Role
We are currently recruiting for General Recycling Operatives to join a busy and growing recycling facility based in Sheffield (S20). This is a hands-on role working within a fast-paced environment, helping to sort and process recyclable materials efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Sorting recyclable materials on a conveyor line
- Separating waste streams (plastic, cardboard, metals, etc.)
- Keeping work areas clean and tidy
- Following all health & safety procedures at all times
- Working as part of a team to meet daily targets
Requirements
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work well within a team
