Job Summary
The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales function, developing strategic sales plans, and driving business growth. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in technical sales within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing and emerging markets.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the design and production teams to ensure customer requirements are met effectively.
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for senior management.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify threats and opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Optional
- Proven experience in sales management within the manufacturing or engineering industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand technical specifications and translate them into business value.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
