We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join our Sponge Department on a permanent basis in Rossendale. This role is ideally suited to someone with experience in a manufacturing environment. A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is highly desirable.

Working on a continental shift pattern, you would need to work day shifts and night shifts, including working on weekends on some weeks.

Shift hours: 07.00-19.00 / 19.00-07.00

Pay rate: £14.27 per hour

Basic pay rate: £12.23 per hour

Shift allowance: £2.04 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent contract

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in manufacturing or machine operation
  • Physically fit (heavy lifting involved)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to communicate in English
