gap personnel Treforest is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, people-focused Account Manager to join our team. Whether you’re experienced or new to recruitment, full training is provided.

About the Role

As an Account Manager, you’ll support our clients across South Wales, build strong relationships, manage staffing requirements, and deliver excellent service to candidates and customers. This is a fast-paced, varied role where communication, organisation, and problem-solving are key. You’ll also attend onsite inductions, client meetings, and service reviews, so the ability to drive and access to your own vehicle is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client communication — building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Candidate management — sourcing, screening, and supporting workers
  • Account coordination — ensuring smooth daily operations for client sites
  • Telephone management — confident handling of inbound and outbound calls
  • Administrative tasks — updating systems, maintaining records, and using Microsoft tools effectively
  • Onsite inductions & client visits — travelling to client locations across South Wales

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Confident communication and customer service abilities
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Previous recruitment or account management experience is beneficial but not essential
