Gap Personnel are currently recruiting for a Production Administration & Planning Support role to work with our client based in Halesowen.
Role Purpose
The Production Administration & Planning Assistance role supports the efficient operation of our clients manufacturing site. This role is responsible for accurate production record-keeping, data management, and reporting, while assisting the Production Controller with scheduling, product transitions, and overall production planning support.
Hours:
Monday till Friday 7:30 β 16:00 40hours per week
Salary:
Will be negotiable based on experience and ability.
Key Responsibilities
Production Administration
- Maintain accurate production records for all product lines (batch sheets, silo usage, material consumption).
- Process work orders and confirm correct raw material allocations.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production efficiency, material usage and stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.
Planning Support
- Assist the Production Controller in preparing and updating weekly production schedules, aligned with capacity, materials, and packaging constraints.
- Monitor production progress against plan, identifying delays, bottlenecks, or deviations.
- Support packaging and product transitions to ensure smooth changeovers.
- Help coordinate paired product runs and line-specific planning requirements.
- Communicate updated schedules, material requirements, and packaging changes to production supervisors.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in production or manufacturing.
- Knowledge of production planning, material requirements, and packaging processes.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and proactive problem solver.
- Strong communication skills; able to liaise effectively with production, logistics, and quality teams.
- Previous experience in a Production Planner or Operations Coordinator role is advantageous.
