gap personnel are currently recruiting for a Sales and Operations Assistant to join a fast-growing, privately owned UK retail business. Recognised as one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies, this organisation has expanded to over 200 stores nationwide and continues to invest heavily in its people and future growth. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic Head Office team where no two days are the same.
About the Role
Working within a busy department, you will provide essential support to both Head Office and retail stores. This varied position requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Data collection and entry across multiple departments
- Providing operational support to stores and Head Office teams
- Acting as first-line support for store queries, resolving or redirecting as needed
- Assisting with employee travel arrangements
- Creating and managing user accounts on internal systems
- Administering staff discount cards
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of training documentation
- Recording and monitoring Health & Safety reports
- Producing and communicating reports across the business
- Assisting with HR-related queries from stores and Head Office
- Supporting recruitment activity for new store openings
Person Specification
- Previous experience or understanding of retail administration is advantageous
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
