gap personnel are recruiting for a Buying Assistant to join a Sunday Times Top Track 100 retailer with over 200 stores nationwide.
The Role
Supporting the Senior Buying team, you’ll help drive sales, maximise profit, and ensure smooth management of product ranges across stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product sourcing, range management, and promotions
- Liaise with suppliers and maintain product data
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends
- Analyse data to support commercial decisions
- Ensure accurate admin, systems, and financial processes
- Work closely with stores to ensure smooth product launches
About You
- Interest in retail with strong commercial awareness
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and numerical ability
- Confident using Microsoft Excel (formulas & graphs)
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
