Warehouse Operatives Paignton, Devon
Sunday to Thursday | Seasonal Position
This is an un-BEET-able opportunity! gap personnel Exeter are currently branching out with Branded Garden Products, an internationally renowned supplier of seeds, plants, and bushes, based in Paignton, Devon. We’re looking for warehouse operatives with green fingers who can help us keep our products blooming in perfect condition.
Your role will be to ensure every order is picked, packed, and handled with care so our customers receive items fresh as a daisy. A delicate touch is key—after all, a broken plant or crushed seed can cause a root-ache!
As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be expected to:
- Pick orders using paper pick lists – from hardgoods to live plants.
- Pack orders carefully using delivery notes, boxes, inserts, and canes where needed – ensuring every item blossoms on arrival.
- Perform quality checks so our customers receive products with no wilt, snap, or blemish.
- Attend morning team huddles to plan your shift and understand order volumes.
- Follow all training and H&S policies, keeping the warehouse sprout-safe.
- Carry out other duties as instructed by your Line Manager or other appropriate managers – ready to grow where you’re planted.
Working Hours:
- Sunday, 0900am – 1700pm
- Monday, 0730am – 1530pm
- Tuesday to Thursday, 08:00am – 16:00pm
- Bank holidays included
