We are seeking a proactive and organised Administrator to join our client’s team in Norwich on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative experience, excellent IT skills, and the ability to manage a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

As an Administrator, you will provide high-quality administrative support, ensuring operational processes run efficiently. You'll work closely with colleagues, suppliers, contractors, and finance teams while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service.

Duties:

  • Input operational work requests onto spreadsheets and maintain accurate records.
  • Raise supplier and contractor purchase orders.
  • Monitor and manage shared Outlook inboxes, responding promptly to queries.
  • Provide general administrative support across the team.
  • Review invoices and payment applications against purchase requests.
  • Update Excel spreadsheets with financial information.
  • Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and finance teams to resolve invoice and payment queries.
  • Ensure sensitive information is handled securely and in line with GDPR requirements.

Skills/Experience:

  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good standard of literacy and numeracy as essential).
  • Good organisational and time management abilities.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in an administrative environment.
  • Experience maintaining databases and accurate records.
  • The ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.

Desirable:

  • Experience managing invoices and purchase orders.
  • Minute-taking experience.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and handling confidential information.
  • Relevant administrative qualifications (such as GCSEs or equivalent).
