Job description:
- Manufacture and build items in compliance with IPC/WHMA-620 requirements
- Cutting & stripping of wires
- Crimp & solder terminations
- Handling and application of electronic components
- Handling and application of heat shrink products and associated adhesives
- Understanding of production drawings and documentation for wire/harness/electromechanical products
- Ability to read and follow documented build procedures
Required Experience:
- The ideal candidate will understand production drawings and documentation of wire harness/electromechanical products.
- The ability to read and follow documented build procedures.
- Experience in manufacture of military / defence & other rugged / harsh environment cable harness & electromechanical products.
- Ideally trained to IPC620 Class 3 application, however, training will be arranged for employees initially if required.
- Follow up training provided annually.
